Kyphie's journey from concept to reality was deeply personal, rooted in my upbringing in India amidst a rich tradition of natural healing. My aunt, an aromatic artisan, was my guide, introducing me to the world of essential oil blends. A staple of my upbringing, each blend was a whisper from the past, an ancestral secret passed down through generations, resting in my hands.
However, upon moving to Europe, I discovered a stark contrast in how essential oils were presented and appreciated. Here, essential oils were often sold individually, lacking the collaborative symphony of the blends I had known. My efforts to recreate these balanced concoctions often resulted in mismatched blends and aromas, far from their intended benefits. These experiments underscored not just my struggle with finding the right balance and dosages but also a significant void in the market. It became clear that the nuanced art of creating purposeful blends — those that both smell delightful and serve a specific wellness goal — was not readily accessible.
The turning point came during the covid pandemic in 2020, when my aunt sent me essential oil blends designed for enhancing immunity and promoting emotional well-being. Far from mere oils, they became sources of healing and joy for my circle, sparking a wave of positive feedback and a demand for more.
